EMEA Senior Statutory Accountant

Join Eaton, a global leader in energy management technologies and services, as a Senior Statutory Accountant in their Budapest office. As a member of the EMEA Business Service Center, you will assist the Portfolio Manager in ensuring obligations are met, drive process improvements, and provide financial leadership on statutory accounting/audits. Collaborate with various corporate departments, global financial accounting teams, and international shared service centers to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, master's is an advantage.
• Relevant work experience working in Statutory and Audit area.
• Excellent working knowledge of English and other European language is an advantage.
• Experience of best practice implementation/end to end process improvement in accounting & reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or other statutory reporting requirements is preferred; exposure to Sarbanes Oxley.
• Experience in SAP/Oracle is an advantage.
• Sound practical knowledge of corporate income tax/indirect taxes (FAS 109) is an advantage.
