The Fabrication Technician - 2nd Shift position is responsible for fabricating parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metals according to specifications. The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- A minimum of one (1) year of metal fabrication technician experience
- Experience as a machine operator or a graduate of a machine certificate program
- Experience reading blueprints, manufacturing diagrams, or drawings, or operating instructions
- Experience with measuring devices (i.e., tape measure and calipers)
- Experience with Eaton systems including DMM and AS-400
- Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
