Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer to drive the design and development of embedded electronics for low-voltage and medium-voltage circuit breakers and advanced switching solutions.

Requirements

• Lead the development, and validation of embedded electronic platforms that power next-generation protection systems
• Execute full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification for electronics-based products
• Translate product requirements into robust technical specifications in collaboration with marketing and applications teams
• Execute hardware design, validation, and qualification testing
• Partner with controls teams to develop and validate fault management algorithms using HIL platforms
• Own detailed development planning, requirements traceability, and issue tracking
• Conduct and participate in formal design and quality reviews
• Collaborate with Corporate R&D, Electrical & Industrial Sector CoEs, and external innovation partners
