Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer to drive the design and development of embedded electronics for low-voltage and medium-voltage circuit breakers and advanced switching solutions.
Requirements
- Lead the development, and validation of embedded electronic platforms that power next-generation protection systems
- Execute full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification for electronics-based products
- Translate product requirements into robust technical specifications in collaboration with marketing and applications teams
- Execute hardware design, validation, and qualification testing
- Partner with controls teams to develop and validate fault management algorithms using HIL platforms
- Own detailed development planning, requirements traceability, and issue tracking
- Conduct and participate in formal design and quality reviews
- Collaborate with Corporate R&D, Electrical & Industrial Sector CoEs, and external innovation partners
