Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift in our Athens, GA location. This position is eligible for a variable incentive program, health benefits, vacation time, paid holidays, and other benefits. The hourly rate for this position is $19.52 + shift differential per hour.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of production equipment and CNC machinery.
• Ability to run, set-up and change-over equipment.
• Able to lift parts up to 50 lbs. frequently, may include pushing and pulling of 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to use personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, apron, hard hat and chemical face shield required depending on task.
• Ability to understand SDS sheets.
• Ability to Lockout/tag-out equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools, and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, measuring instruments and gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and equipment operations manuals.
