Materials Manager

Eaton is seeking a Materials Manager for its Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility. The role involves site ownership of all materials processes, including SIOP Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Shop Floor processes. The position requires leadership duties, strategy, and continuous improvement with total ownership of key metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Materials and Operations management in a high volume business
• APICS CPIM Certification
• ERP knowledge (preferably Oracle)
• Leadership experience
• Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution
• In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes, value streams from raw materials to finished product
• Ability to motivate team members to drive for results
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with challenging time constraints
• Functional responsibility for launching new programs
• Understanding lean concepts and able to lead continuous improvement initiatives
