Planner

The Planner performs diversified duties related to MRP planning, scheduling, and expediting components in order to support strategic inventory goals and to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels. The role involves planning and coordinating future requirements through analysis and interpretation of current production status, managing and directing priorities for the shop floor for a given product group, and communicating closely with the Purchasing Team to ensure uninterrupted flow to support Master Schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution required
• Minimum 2 years' of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping / receiving
• Experience planning within the Aerospace or Automotive industry
• Experience with a MRP system, manufacturing, operations or logistics environment
• Strong PC skills, especially in MS Excel
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
