Job Description
Eaton is seeking a Production Welder - 2nd Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI. The hourly rate for this position is $24.45 per hour + $2.50 per hour shift premium. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*. The Production Welder operates a mig welding machine and air grinder, assembling and welding tank covers, nut guards, doors, risers/sills, production orders, switch module cubicle components, and single/three phase cubicle components.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED from an accredited institution
- One of the following: Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience in an Eaton facility, Welding certification, Current enrollment in a Welding Program with an anticipated completion date in 2026 from an accredited institution, Previous welding experience in manufacturing or a related field
- Ability to successfully complete Eaton's Power Systems weld test with a score greater or equal to 80%
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
