Senior Engineer - Electrical Test Design 1

Join Eaton's Aerospace division in Wimborne, Dorset, as a Senior Engineer - Electrical Test Design. You'll demonstrate, deploy, and document electrical hardware and LabVIEW software technical knowledge within the aerospace industry. You'll provide technical support to aerospace projects and product developments, primarily for military applications.

Requirements

• Engineering or science degree, or equivalent experience following an apprenticeship
• Minimum 7 years within the engineering or manufacturing industries
• Sound understanding of electrical systems
• Ability to work with circuit diagrams
• Proficient user of LabVIEW, MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Understanding of digital and analogue hardware and ability to debug equipment using laboratory instruments
• Electrical test hardware design experience
• Understanding of requirements management, configuration management, and health & safety requirements
• Keen eye for detail
• Pro-active, able to use own initiative
• Good verbal and written communications
• Collaborates well in a team environment
• Willingness to mentor less experienced engineers
• Appetite to learn
