Job Description
Eaton's IS AER FED division is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to create, own, and improve processes throughout the plant. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Lead efforts to improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, and reduce Costs
- Provide day-to-day support for the manufacturing team
- Develop or purchase manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling
- Employ Value Stream Maps to evaluate process current state and plan/execute future state
- Identify and implement new manufacturing methods and process modification recommendations
- Develop cost justification and project plans for new/modified tooling, machinery, or other Capital Projects
- Establish, maintain, and audit Engineering Specifications, Bills of Material, Process Routers, Production Standards, and Process FMEA's
- Participate with multi-functional product development teams
- Foster an environment that promotes Eaton's goals and philosophies and encourage continuous improvement
