Supply Chain Manufactuirng Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the introduction of Sub-Contract operations within the current manufacturing processes and support the Transitions buying team. The successful applicant will collaborate with operations, supply chain, design engineering, and quality to deliver smooth process transitions that meet programme schedule and performance goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace or a similarly regulated mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience and involvement with Sub-Contractors.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Assembly & integration, Fuel systems, Special processes (heat treatment, surface finishing, part marking, etc.).
• Working knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP).
• Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) related activities, Risk Assessments, FMEAs, SPC, Continuous Improvement etc.
• Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
