Toolmaker

As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and examining injection mould and metal press tooling, ensuring tasks are completed to acceptable standards and adhering to company quality policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Carry out all fault finding, tool repair, corrections, and modification
• Translate CAD drawings for tooling tasks
• Operate authorized equipment and machinery
• Maintain lean manufacturing standards and observe safety practices
• Collaborate with other departments and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Undertake necessary training for development
• Possess a formal engineering qualification
• Have recognized apprenticeship training or B.TEC ONC equivalent
• Be familiar with abrasive wheels regulations and health and safety at work
• Possess ability to work with and support teams and engage in company initiatives
