Job Description
As a Tool Maker, you will be part of a small team responsible for the repair, maintenance and examination of all types of injection mould and metal press tooling.
Requirements
- Carry out all fault finding, tool repair, corrections and modification.
- Translate CAD drawings in order to complete required tooling tasks.
- Operate equipment and machinery for which they are authorised.
- Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
- Liaise with other departments/functions ensuring good Team collaboration
- Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy, whist adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.
- Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
