Job Description
Ebury is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join its Data Platform team in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience working with structured and unstructured data sources. They will work closely with the team to develop and improve the Data Platform, driving innovation and exploring emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data sources
- Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling
- Graph database modelling encouraged
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale
- Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions
- Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
