The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional reviews and analyzes work environments, designs policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulations on safety, health, and the environment, and communicates with clients, peers, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelors (BA/BS) degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject from an accredited school
- Associates (AA/AS) degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject from an accredited school and at least two or more years related experience and/or training in professional safety in the field
- Successful completion of an accredited EHS Apprentice program
- Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oregon driver license
- OSHA 30 in construction required or equivalent certification
- Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification preferred
- Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) or Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM)
