Job Description
ECBuild is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in Baltimore to contribute to preconstruction estimating and planning services. The role involves developing cost models, schedules, and logistics plans to support the overall preconstruction effort, coordinating with various project teams. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in cost estimating software, and ability to work with diverse groups.
Requirements
- Quantity take off in 2D and 3D applications
- Analyze plans and specifications to understand labor, material, and equipment costs
- Develop unit costs accurately
- Understand and develop unit costs accurately
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Experience with Costx, mc2, Pro Contractor Navisworks Manage, BIM, Pro Contractor or similar computerized estimating software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel
- Proficient with Bluebeam
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
