Health and Safety Manager

ECC is seeking a Health & Safety Manager for upcoming work in Hawaii and surrounding areas. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Company safety standards, contractual requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Implement and manage Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), Health & Safety Plans, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Promote and enforce Company health and safety programs across construction sites
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance and identify risk
• Lead safety training for Company staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain required safety documentation, reports, logs, and records
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and track corrective actions to closure
• Serve as the primary site safety representative with clients and regulatory agencies
• Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate safety into project planning and execution
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to safety staff and junior personnel
• Support subcontractor safety reviews and compliance assessments
