Job Description
This Accounting Manager role involves managing a team of financial analysts and providing support for client-facing activities. The position requires overseeing general ledger operations, financial analysis, and compliance with accounting principles. It also involves liaisoning with external auditors and serving as a financial liaison for other departments.
Requirements
- Manage an estimated 60-70+ FTEs
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements
- Establish and maintain internal controls
- Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting departments
- Research accounting issues for compliance
- Analyze cost variances
- Serve as liaison to external auditors
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong MS Office and accounting software skills
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting
