Job Description
As our Electrical/Mechanical Expert, you will lead the mechanical and electrical aspects of our next-generation EV charging reference design. Your work will form the backbone of how EcoG customers bring reliable, scalable, and serviceable charging systems to market.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Demonstrated mastery of DFM and DFS
- Strong experience in control power distribution, wire and circuit protection sizing
- Ability to create schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, bills of material, etc.
- Familiar with industrial electrical codes ensuring designs meet industry safety and regulatory standards; IEC/UL/NEC for applicable regions
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, validation, and iterative refinement of electromechanical systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, both automated and traditional
- Skilled in CAD design, technical documentation, and structured analysis (FMEA, tolerance analysis, etc.)
