Chemist

Ecolab is seeking a Chemist to execute technical laboratory activities in support of technical platform development. The Chemist will conduct analyses and experiments on organic and inorganic substances to determine and evaluate their applications, and contribute to the development of differentiated technology, products, processes, or systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (Biology or Biochemistry may not be a perfect fit for Nalco operations)
• 3–5 years of experience in the chemical blending industry or third-party laboratories
• Operating knowledge of analytical laboratory instrumentation
• Knowledge of physical analysis, spectrophotometric analysis, quantitative analysis, and qualitative analysis
• Preferred knowledge of chromatographic analysis
• Previous experience working under GMP conditions
