The Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing support services to the North American Logistics group in Supply Chain. The role involves managing daily expedite requests, utilizing TMS-Transportation Management Software, and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Manage and support daily expedite requests for an assigned geographic region
- Utilize TMS-Transportation Management Software to rate, schedule, and route shipments
- Monitor expedite shipments and requests to identify actions required to improve or optimize related processes
- Communicate effectively via phone and e-mail to provide order status, product and availability information and to resolve transportation and inventory issues with internal and external customers
- Maintain effective track and trace process with in-transit shipments
- Effectively communicate and resolve delay scenarios with internal and external customers
- Maintain timing and accuracy of daily expedite order cutoffs and ensure it is executed consistently with warehouse workflow timing needs met
- Effective cost management per contractual and/or budgetary guidelines
- Work as a part of a team effectively, which includes but is not limited to effective communication and provide coverage in the absence of teammates
- Additional duties as assigned
