Job Description
Nalco Water is seeking an Operator for a Water Treatment Plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The role involves monitoring plant operations, transferring chemicals, and performing statistical analysis of laboratory data. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or technical studies, 0.5 years of experience in water treatment or related areas, and basic knowledge of chemical and biological processes.
Requirements
- Monitor plant operations to ensure chemical and biological processes are within parameters
- Transfer, empty, and/or dose chemicals in corresponding systems
- Perform statistical analysis of laboratory data and plant checklists to control the process
- Identify deviations in plant equipment and inform accordingly
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of chemical and biological processes
- Retire manual sludge generated by the press filter
- Move 40kg pumps to a height of 4 meters using a hoist, following safety guidelines
