AI Engineer (LLM & Agents)

Role Overview

Join Ecommpay as a Founding AI Engineer to drive the company's AI capabilities. You'll design, build, and maintain LLM-based applications and agentic systems to solve real business problems. The role requires a builder who's comfortable prototyping and deploying AI solutions.

What You Will Do

Design, build, and maintain LLM-based applications and agentic systems, develop and optimize RAG pipelines, build and deploy AI agents, integrate LLM capabilities with existing systems, evaluate and fine-tune models, and maintain and extend the AI platform infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs
• Practical experience implementing RAG systems
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and patterns
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of prompt engineering principles and LLM evaluation methodologies
