Mechanical Engineer

EControls is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing R&D team. The Mechanical Engineer leads the development of mechanical and electro‐mechanical products by driving design analysis, validation planning, and cross‐functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• MS in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Proficient in 3D mechanical design (SolidWorks preferred)
• Proficient in one or more analysis tools (FEA, CFD, Tolerance stack)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Understand and apply GD&T standards
• Ability to work in a fast‐paced and challenging environment
• Injection molding/die casting processes and design practices
• Seal design
• Knowledge of CSA Class 1, Div 2 and UL (preferred)
