Job Description
EDAG Group is seeking a Design Release Engineer to join a global engineering services provider. This role involves working with a team to integrate and release new design solutions, organizing meetings to drive feasibility, and participating in the creative development of new products. The position offers opportunities for influence on the future of the OEM’s brand and supports the implementation of PPAP activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with design, release, and manufacturing of automotive components
- Experience creating internal requirements in accordance with customer requirements
- Knowledge and proficiency in CATIA and/or NX
- Experience assisting in all PPAP activities and ensuring successful PPAP approval
- Proficient in program management for assigned programs
- Track and maintain program plan and timelines
- Ensure design, analysis, testing, tooling, and manufacturing reviews are complete
