Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our Production Solutions team. Ideal candidates must have previous experience in the design and engineering of automotive manufacturing conveyor systems. This position is responsible for performing design and engineering of conveyor systems for automotive customers, generating Bill of Materials, and providing technical support to manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
- 5 plus years of experience
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor
- Automotive experience needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to conveyor design and functionality
