As an Environment & Sustainability Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Turnbull's infrastructure and development programmes. You'll champion sustainability ambitions, communicate clearly, and influence positive environmental outcomes at every stage of a project.
Requirements
- Conducting regular site environmental inspections and audits, including subcontractor activities.
- Providing guidance on incidents and supporting with mitigation measures to deliver continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with construction environmental controls, method statements and pollution prevention plans.
- Championing positive environmental behaviours and supporting in the delivery of training and briefings.
- Collaborating with operational teams to manage environmental permits, licences and obligations applicable to the project.
- Representing Turnbull at meetings with stakeholders, regulators, and community groups, and preparing monthly reports, dashboards or client submissions.
- Providing early and ongoing input to design and construction teams to maximise sustainable outcomes.
- Preparing or reviewing Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs) and Site Waste Management Plans (WMPs).
- Embedding sustainability principles into project delivery, including resource efficiency, carbon reduction, biodiversity enhancement, and climate resilience.
