Application Support Analyst

Join EDF Trading as an Application Support Analyst and become part of a diverse international team of experts who challenge conventional ideas and think outside the box. The role involves providing comprehensive support for all applications to the trading business, including diagnosing and resolving live system incidents, collaborating with teams to plan and implement on-going enhancements, and sharing knowledge and expertise with others.

Requirements

• Evident systems analysis skills ideally garnered within an energy, commodity or similar trading environment.
• Able to manage incidents and service requests while providing timely status updates to users.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle and knowledge of trading and risk management systems for commodities.
• Experience in diagnosing application problems in a Windows Server and Azure Kubernetes environment.
• Knowledge of SQL Server (2016 upwards) and/or Oracle (11g on)
• Some experience of one or more of the following applications: ION/FIS, CubeLogic, Workday.
