Structurer

The role involves assisting commercial stakeholders in the development, structuring and valuation of transactions and business development initiatives, and requires experience in energy markets, financial mathematics and modelling, and excellent presentation skills.

Requirements

• Degree level education in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Applied Maths, or similar
• 2-4 year work experience within a bank (energy commodities), physical energy trading house, power assets modelling firm or Big 4 firm (energy advisory)
• Experience of energy markets
• Excellent financial mathematics and modelling skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to understand complex transaction structures and communicate to stakeholders both verbally and by way of written documents
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Python, VBA, or other programming languages skills in support of data analysis, payoff modelling and industrialised tools development
• Fluent English with French and/or other languages beneficial
