Job Description
Edgestream Partners is seeking a Data Engineer to build, scale and support core data infrastructure used in both live trading and research. The role is ideal for an early to mid-career engineer with strong Python skills and a solid technical foundation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, Polars and NumPy.
- A passion for AI and a demonstrated drive to leverage it for transforming and automating data workflows.
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability and willingness to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.
- Familiarity with data processing concepts such as ETL, data validation, and schema management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn new tools, systems, and domains.
