Job Description
Editas Medicine is seeking a Scientist I to join their In Vivo Discovery Team to bolster assay development and support pharmacology efforts. The role involves designing, optimizing, and qualifying assays to quantify the functional impact of therapeutic gene editing in vivo and in vitro.
Requirements
- B.S. w/ 6+ years, M.S. w/ 4+ years of experience or Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in biochemical and cell-based assay development
- Extensive experience in molecular and cell biology techniques
- Mammalian cell culture and transfections experience
- Familiarity with CRISPR, non-viral and/or viral delivery vectors is a plus
