EDO is a leading platform measuring Convergent TV advertising. We are looking for a Data Scientist to drive our modeling and analytical methodology. The role will involve enhancing our AdEngage platform, testing new methods for modeling ad effectiveness, and working on a small team to take ownership of high impact projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years professional experience doing hands-on analysis and writing clean, reusable code in Python
- Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively on a distributed team
- Experience building and tuning XGBoost (or similar GBM) models, and with cross-validation techniques, and familiarity with a handful of other modeling tools
- Experience with git and exposure to unit testing concepts
- Understanding of biased data and adjustment methods including weighting and resampling
- Proficiency with analytic queries in SQL and relational databases (we primarily use Snowflake), with experience interfacing directly with databases from Python (we leverage SQLAlchemy Core heavily)
- Experience with panel datasets, especially ones with missing data and attrition
