Dean of Students

The Dean of Students is responsible for maintaining proper discipline and conduct, developing policies, and communicating with students, staff, and parents. The position involves leadership, supervision, and facilitation of communication between students, staff, and parents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other related discipline
• Demonstrated successful teaching experience preferred in an urban education setting
• Minimum of two years demonstrated successful leadership in an administrative position
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills with students, parents and community
• Ability to meet established deadlines
