Principal

The Principal is responsible for providing instructional leadership, supervising staff, overseeing all instructional programs and practices, managing the Academy's operations, and ensuring a safe learning environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills in an urban setting. The position involves handling various administrative and operational duties, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

• Principal license preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other related discipline
• Demonstrated successful teaching experience
• Minimum of three years demonstrated successful leadership in an administrative position
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Effective organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills with students, parents and community
• Ability to meet established deadlines
