Job Description
Meat cutters are responsible for maintaining high-quality meat and poultry stock levels in meat department departments. This includes receiving, stocking, cutting, grinding, wrapping, weighing, and pricing meat products. Cutters assist customers, answer questions, and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in a meat cutting role or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of various meat cuts and preparation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
