Job Description
The Neonatal Care Technician will be responsible for animal care, cleaning, and communication between neonatal and veterinary staff at eGenesis's clinical-stage biotechnology company in Northwest, Indiana.
Requirements
- Perform daily care of piglets in the eGenesis Neonatal facility
- Take daily weights and temperatures of each piglet
- Clean daily following provided standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Feed piglets following provided SOPs
- Observe piglets and record clinical observations
- Provide recommended treatments according to veterinary instruction
- Interpret and report piglet health status
- Participate in department, division, and other meetings as requested
- Ensure SOP compliance
- Promote and adhere to safety in workplace
- Promote and adhere to the eGenesis animal welfare policies
