Job Description
eGenesis is seeking a Research Veterinarian to oversee neonatal piglet population and surrogate herd, manage veterinary and neonatal teams, and advise on regulatory compliance. The role involves clinical veterinary care, personnel management, animal welfare, regulatory adherence, and participation in scientific research. This position supports animal welfare programs and promotes eGenesis's mission to give patients a second chance at life.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from AVMA-accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state
- DEA Registration
- USDA Accreditation Category II
- 5+ years of experience working with animals in a research environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
