OS Engineer (m/f/d)

We're looking for an OS Engineer to join our cross-functional OS and Backend team, where you'll enjoy a flat hierarchy and the freedom to build robust, Yocto-based Linux operating systems. You'll be responsible for the full software lifecycle, including technology evaluation and testing, documentation, and smooth deployment for the EGYM Device Operating System.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Linux systems development, particularly in building applications designed for small edge devices (Raspberry Pi, iMX)
• Programming and scripting skills in languages such as Rust, C, or C++, Bash, and Python
• Cloud & connectivity proficiency, including knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (VPN, TCP/IP, NAT, IPv6, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with build systems like Buildroot and alternative build systems
