As Associate General Counsel, Privacy and Technology, you will provide legal guidance and recommendations on privacy and security matters, both internally and through relationships with health insurance carriers and partners.
Requirements
- Serve as the company's chief privacy officer
- Develop and maintain appropriate privacy, security, and other related policies
- Advise the business on privacy and security matters, including HIPAA, GLBA, HITRUST, and state privacy regulations
- Provide legal advice to various groups within the company, particularly relating to laws and regulations applicable to operation of the company's technology platform for selling health insurance
- Draft and negotiate agreements with vendors, business partners, health insurance companies, technology licensors, and other third parties
