Job Description
This occupation requires diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronic systems, line replaceable units, and other electronic end items. The job involves performing operational checkout, disassembly, repair, and reassembly of electronic systems. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of electronic fundamentals, including metric/standard measurement conversion, analog, digital, and radio frequency technology. The job requires the ability to use complex electrical and electronics test equipment and related instruments.
Requirements
- Associate degree in electronics technology
- DD214 Military technical electronic training
- Certification through the International Society of Certified Electronic Technicians (ISCET)
- Ability to make a complete operational test of electronic end items and SRUs
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electric/electronic circuit diagrams
- Ability to develop charts, diagrams, procedures, and work sequences for testing SRUs, LRUs, and other electronics end items
