Job Description
The Low Voltage Cable Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling systems in commercial construction environments. This position requires hands-on fieldwork, the ability to work at heights, and adherence to company and client safety standards.
Requirements
- Pull, route, secure, test, and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat6, fiber, coaxial, etc.)
- Install and secure support structures, including cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, and pathways
- Read and follow basic construction drawings and project instructions
- Maintain job site safety and comply with OSHA and company safety standards
- Follow directions from Lead Technicians and Foreman
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
