Electra is seeking a Senior Reliability and Test Engineer to lead reliability testing, failure analysis, and performance validation of advanced materials and systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in reliability engineering, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in reliability engineering, testing, product validation, or materials characterization within industrial or manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of reliability principles, failure mechanisms, and statistical analysis methodologies
- High proficiency in test design, data acquisition, and analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, LabVIEW), with experience applying environmental testing standards (ASTM, IEC, MIL-STD)
- Experience managing laboratory operations, including ISO 17025 compliance, supporting both R&D and production needs
- Strong communicator who bridges R&D and manufacturing by translating design intent into scalable, compliant manufacturing and supplier quality processes
