Experience Designer - Creative Innovation (6-months, temporary) at Electronic Arts in Vancouver, Canada. The role involves leading meaningful change in the way game development tools are designed and used, and will report to a Development Director.
Requirements
- Conduct user research end-to-end, interviewing technical artists and developers to uncover friction points in environment-building workflows.
- Translate complex, unstructured data from user sessions and analytics into clear design recommendations and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Design and improve on UI/UX solutions for procedural tools that align with (or help define) a cohesive internal design system.
- Partner with Technical Art Directors and Engineers to balance backend capabilities and frontend usability.
- Experiment with LLMs and AI-driven design methodologies to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the creative output of our teams.
- Present research findings and design concepts to diverse audiences, advocating for the user while balancing project constraints.
