Job Description
The Group Underwriter, Senior is responsible for determining acceptability of insurance risks and appropriate premium rates for small, complex renewal and prospect employer groups in accordance with Corporate Underwriting Guidelines and Authority Limits. The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum 4 years of related experience. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Mason, OH, Atlanta, GA or Norfolk, VA.
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field
- Minimum 4 years of related experience
- CPCU, CLU, LOMA, HIAA, PAHM or other insurance related courses highly preferred
- Level Funded medical underwriting experience highly preferred
- Small group experience preferred
