SEO Specialist | Digital Marketing Agency

We're an award-winning digital marketing agency seeking a full-time SEO Specialist to join our team. As an SEO Specialist, you will run full SEO audits for client websites, do keyword research, implement on-page and technical SEO, and build and manage local SEO strategies. You will also execute link-building campaigns, write or optimize SEO content, and use AI tools to improve SEO workflows. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, technical SEO skills, and experience with SEO tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics. The role requires analytical thinking, good English communication, and the ability to work independently. We offer a competitive salary, 2 weeks paid time off, and paid U.S. holidays.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience
• Technical SEO skills: site speed, schema, crawl audits, indexing, URL structure
• On-page SEO: keyword optimization, content structure, meta tags, internal linking
• Local SEO: Google Business Profile, citations, location pages, map pack rankings
• Link building: experience with outreach, link auditing, and building quality backlinks
• SEO tools: Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
• AI-powered SEO: actively use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar to speed up keyword research, content optimization, and technical audits
• Content optimization: write or improve SEO content that ranks
• HTML/CSS basics: enough to make on-page changes, troubleshoot code issues, and work with developers
• Analytical thinking: make decisions based on data, not guesses
