Food Counter Staff - New Brewery/Restaurant Opening!

Elicit Brewing Company is seeking a Food Counter Staff to be the face of the restaurant and brewery, guiding guests through the menu and providing excellent service. This role involves thorough knowledge of food items, accurate order placement, and efficient POS operation. Requirements

• Oversee and guide guest’s complete food ordering experience
• Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times
• Full knowledge of food menu items including the major components of a dish
• Properly notify the kitchen and management of any guest allergies
• Thoroughly explain to guests the food service style of the restaurant and its workings
• Adhere to all company service standards and protocols
• Confident and correct use of POS system for order entry and payment processing
• Ensure food arrives to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction
• Answering phones and responding to questions in all aspects concerning the store
• Maintaining a sanitary environment for incoming and outgoing guests
• Label and package to go items pertaining to pre-order takeout
• Ensure guests are charged correctly and receive proof of payment in a timely manner
• Communicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as necessary
• Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests
