Geotechnical Engineer or Engineer-in-Training

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineer-in-Training to join their team in Elkford, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for pit and spoil slope stability, performing regular geotechnical inspections, and providing recommendations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, Mine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Geology
• Registered, or eligible to register, with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) as a P. Eng. Or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.)
• One to four years of experience in geotechnical roles; recent graduates also encouraged to apply
• Working knowledge preferred of Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and relevant geotechnical and rock mechan.ics or mining software
