Job Description
Elk Valley Resources (EVR) operates four steelmaking coal mines in British Columbia, committed to responsible resource development and strong partnerships. They are hiring Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) to inspect, repair, and maintain stationary equipment in a full-time hourly position with a 4x4 schedule. The role involves participating in safety programs, working with various trades, installing/repairing mechanical/hydraulic components, and maintaining processing plant equipment like pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors.
Requirements
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions
