Senior Manager, GS Global Supply Chain

The Senior Manager GS Global Supply Chain is responsible for leading and integrating all aspects of the GS supply chain, focusing on process standardization and coordination across regions. This role ensures that the supply chain operates as a synergized unit in support for Service Parts, Repairs, and Field Service Operations.

Requirements

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead process standardization, global sourcing plans, contracts, and performance management of the team.
• Manage risk across the supplier base, including capacity, financial stability, and geopolitical factors.
• Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices, sustainability goals, and supplier diversity initiatives.
• Support dual/multi-sourcing strategies to improve supply continuity and mitigate disruptions.
• Align inventory management, receiving, storage, and material delivery to production lines / sales order demand globally.
• Implement common best practices for lean warehousing and just-in-time (JIT) delivery across global warehouses.
• Oversee new supplier development & onboarding strategies.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to develop, maintain, and execute supplier quality standards and inspection protocols.
• Manage and develop a cross-functional team across procurement, warehouse, and supplier quality.
• Develop and manage departmental budget and performance metrics.
