Aluminum Finishing Production Operator

We are seeking an Aluminum Finishing Operator to join our growing team. The Finishing Operator is responsible for operating finishing equipment to prepare aluminum product for shipping to customer. You will learn to safely operate homogenizing furnaces/cooling chamber, to use band saw, lathes, and other equipment in the finishing area.

Requirements

• Receive instruction and necessary information from supervisor and control room operator
• Operate homogenization furnaces and cooling chamber
• Input and monitor information on homogenization furnace and cooling chamber controls
• Set up and operate saw(s) and lathe(s), selecting proper feeds and speeds
• Unload equipment after process and delivers material to next area of operation as required
• Inspect the quality of the material during and after processes to make sure the piece is in spec per customer requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Abides by all plant safety regulations and work rules
