Metallurgical Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on metallurgical experience in a heavy manufacturing environment (steel, foundry, forging, machining, fabrication, or similar)
• Strong understanding of metal properties, heat-treatment processes, failure mechanisms, and material specifications
• Experience with metallurgical lab equipment (hardness tester, microscope, tensile tester, spectrometer, etc.)
• Ability to work on the shop floor, troubleshoot issues in real time, and communicate effectively with production teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with quality systems and industrial safety practices
