Senior Software Engineer II

Senior Software Engineer-II position to deliver high-quality software to customers as part of the Research Data Platform (RDP) team, working on a core data platform for research content and analytics, and contributing to a global leader in information and analytics, helping researchers and healthcare professionals advance science and improve health outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies
• Strong proficiency with data manipulation language and optimization techniques
• Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles
• Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems
• Expertise in development languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and.Net
• Strong research skills
• Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development
• Knowledge in using and developing applicable tool sets
• Ability to interface competently with other technical personnel or team members
• Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
• Knowledge of test-driven development
• Good oral and written communications skills
